Warranty Terms and Conditions
Here After “The Company(ies)” will be in reference to Socket Doctors LLC and United Currents
Lifetime Labor Warranty:
The Company Guarantees all workmanship to be free of flaws for the duration of ownership of serviced property. The Companies technicians meet specific criteria and training to ensure quality of work performed. A criterion that includes work to be completed in accordance with local building codes AND high integrity. We stand behind those criteria and expectations of perfection.
- Warranty is nontransferable to new home ownership.
- Warranty ensures repairs for lifetime of owning property serviced.
- Covers any repairs required due to faulty workmanship or failed material because of faulty workmanship.
- No hidden service fees or charges for service resulting from failed workmanship.
- Applied to Residential Services Only.
- Does not apply to repairs needed due to normal breakdown or reasonable end-of-life expectancy for product or service.
2-Year Standard Material Warranty:
The Companies guarantee all standard material supplied and installed will be free from failure or defect within TWO years of installation. This includes all the standard material which The Companies provide. Customer supplied material not included. Warranty void if product has been tampered with, altered, or changed by homeowner or an alternate contractor.
- Warranty IS transferable to new homeowners.
- If a standard item fails within 2 years of installation, it includes a full replacement at no cost.
- Covers all material provided by The Companies unless noted on the invoice as otherwise or noted within exclusions.
- Standard material is listed as basic electrical devices readily available at supply houses or local hardware stores.
- Types of standard material include but are not limited to:
- Receptacles, switches (dimmers, standard, smart etc.), recessed lights, bath fans, breakers, etc.
- Does not include special order or custom ordered materials.
- Types of standard material include but are not limited to:
- Does not include replaceable parts – light bulbs, ballasts, batteries, etc.
- See additional exclusions for more details.
- Arc Fault, GFCI, or Combination Breakers carry a Limited 90 Day Warranty for Replacement.
Major Electrical Repairs:
The Companies guarantee, with major electrical repairs, an extended 1-year warranty in addition to the standard 2-year material warranty. Warranty guarantees are free from flaws for any major electrical equipment. Major electrical equipment includes but not limited to Electrical panel replacements, main meter box replacements, major wiring upgrades/changes (full house rewiring basement finishing, etc.).
- Includes all major equipment and wiring.
- Extended 1 year warranty excludes all standard devices which include but not limited to:
- Outlets, switches, breakers, recessed lights, etc.
- Standard devices carry 2-year material warranty.
- Extended 1 year warranty covers all main breakers, main power equipment, any disconnect boxes or exterior breaker boxes.
Exclusions:
- Light Bulbs – LED, Incandescent, Halogen or Commercial Lighting
- All Light bulbs are warranted for 30 days, additional warranty not included.
- Specific situations where additional equipment is required to reach a fixture for lighting repair may require additional cost for equipment.
- Lightning damage or surge related damage are not covered for under 30 days.
- Non-Warranty Repairs:
- Specific situations noted as temporary repairs or band-aid situations to prolong the life of a flawed or defective system.
- The non-warranty repairs will be noted on the invoice stating recommended long-term repairs and acknowledging the non-warranty repair as temporary.
- Non-Durable Replacement Parts:
- Fluorescent light ballasts, batteries for smoke alarms, light bulbs (see above), etc.
- Non-Durable Replacement parts do not require additional individual notating on the invoice at time of service.
- Surge Protection
- All main panel/meter surge protection is explicitly covered under manufacturer warranty.
- Any repairs, replacements, or damages due to surges or lightning strikes will need to be directed to the manufacturer with the manufacturer’s warranty information.
- The Company guarantees surge protection is installed to manufacturer specs and requirements.
- The Company guarantees device functionality within the 2-year material warranty after determining failure not due to act of God.
- All warranties do not cover the cost of repairs or changes made by others unless prior written notice.
- The warranty does not cover any complementary or courtesy repairs.
- Remedies for warranty claims include the repair or replacement of the damaged part OR up to but not exceeding full refund for individual item/service at the full discretion of The Companies.

- Inspection & Diagnosis – We will schedule an inspection to assess the problem and determine the appropriate solution.
- Resolution – If covered under warranty, we will repair or replace the faulty component at no additional cost.
